If you are seeking health care services at our outpatient clinic or during your inpatient stay, you can contact the Patient Rights Department on the first floor. You can also report your suggestions and complaints using the contact pages.
When you request health care from a health care provider, you have the following rights.
The Right to Benefit from the Service in General:
To use health services within the framework of principles of justice and equity. They have the right to receive services regardless of their race, language, religion and sect, gender, philosophical belief, economic and social status.
Right to be Informed:
The patient has the right to know about all kinds of health services and opportunities and to request all kinds of information about his/her health status orally or in writing.
The Right to Choose and Change the Healthcare Institution and its Personnel:
The patient has the right to choose and change the health care institution and to receive health care services in the chosen health care institution, to know, choose and change the identity, duties and titles of doctors and other health care workers providing health care services.
Privacy:
They have the right to receive all kinds of health services in an environment that complies with confidentiality.
Refusal, Cessation and Consent:
They have the right to refuse treatment, to ask for it to be stopped, to obtain consent for medical intervention and to benefit from the service within the framework of consent.
Safety:
They have the right to receive health care in a safe environment.
Fulfillment of Religious Obligations:
The health facility has the right to fulfill its religious obligations to the extent possible and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration.
Respect for Human Values, Dignity and Comfort:
The patient has the right to receive health care with respect, care and attention, in a friendly, kind and compassionate environment, where all hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated.
Visitors and Accompanying Persons:
The patient has the right to receive visitors within the framework of the procedures and principles determined by the health facilities, to have a companion if the physician deems it appropriate, to the extent possible by the legislation and the health facility.
Right to Appeal, Complaint and Litigation:
In case of violation of their rights, they have the right to use all kinds of application, complaint and lawsuit rights within the framework of the legislation.
